Welcome to Sheffield Hockey Club - Teams

Mens 1st XI

Sheffield Hallam Men’s 1st XI compete in the NOW:Pensions Premier Division having won the NOW:Pensions North Conference in 2012-13. They finally secured their place in English hockey's top tier by finishing second behind Wimbledon in the promotion playoffs. This is the first time Sheffield Hallam have played in English Hockey's top division.

The team prides itself on a professional approach to the sport, made possible thanks to the hard work and dedication of the players, coaches and support staff.

Training Schedule

Mondays: 6:45pm - 8:30pm

6:45pm - Physical warm up
7:00pm - Stick & ball warm-up
7:10pm - Main session
8:20pm - Cool down and finish

Thursdays: 7:30pm - 10:00pm

6:30pm - Physio and triage clinic
7:30pm - Video analysis and pre-match briefing
8:15pm - Stick & Ball warm-up
8:30pm - Main session
10:00pm - Cool down and finish
