Sheffield Hockey Club

The Mens 1st team ended the first half of the season with a fine 4-2 win at Doncaster and as they now start their midseason break, the focus can move to the rest of the club.

In the Ladies section:

• The 1s have a big fixture against legaue leaders Ben Rhydding and  are looking to bounce back after last weeks defeat.
• The 2s are playing Bingley Bees one of the sides below them so hopefully they won't get stung!

In the Mens section:

• The 2s host Urmston at the Dale, this is another top of the table clash for the 2s, Urmston are 2 points above the 2s and are the leagues leading goal scorers.
• The 3s are in a 2nd versus 3rd battle at York Uni and are looking to put the disappointment of last weekend behind them.
• The 4s are against local rivals Rotherham, who could be fielding ex SHC player, England Masters Captain and all round legend Jon Bray, in a game that should see them stay in one of the promotion spots.

In the Junior section:

• The Under 12 Boys side are off to Leeds University to play their round of 5 fixtures.
• The Under 16 Girls are in Hull playing their 4 fixtures.
