Sheffield Hockey Club

Following the results last weekend several of the top sides this week are now involved in key games.

In the Mens section:

• The 1s are looking to bounce back from their narrow defeat at Brooklands MU with a trip to local rivals Doncaster on Sunday
• The 2s are traveling to bottom of the table Lytham St Annes looking to build on the excellent win against Leeds last weekend.  The top 6 teams in the league are covered by 3 points and with 1st playing 2nd (Alderley and Leeds) a chance to close on one if not both teams needs to be taken.
• The 3s are looking to capitalise on their double victories last weekend by taking on Leeds 3 in a 1st versus 2nd place encounter.

The Ladies section have a full set of fixtures, notably:

• The 1s entertain Timperley and will be looking to continue their consequtive clean sheet performances with another.
• The 2s are up against table topping Leeds in what will be a tough fixture.

And not to feel left out in the ongoing run of fixtures against Leeds the Under 10 Girls are meeting them on Sunday in their round of fixtures which also include games against Ben Rhydding, Huddersfield Dragons, Pocklington and Doncaster.
