Pennine Pumas Success for Sheffield Hockey Club athletes and coaches

Sheffield Hockey Club has five junior players selected to represent the Pennine Pumas in the upcoming Tier 2 camps and competitions.

The Pennine Pumas teams are selected from the Junior Regional Perfomance Centres (JRPC) across the north of England

Tori Wensley will represent the Pumas at the U16 girls Futures Cup at Cannock in late October and similarly, Hugh Bagley and Ed Brebner will be playing for the U18 boys. Adam Harriman and Ed Sides go to the High Performance Assessment Camp next weekend. After his successful Summer with the England U16’s Adam moves up an age group to U17, and Ed follows in the footsteps of elder brother Will, and will attend the U15 camp.

Congratulations to those five players and best of luck.

It's not just our athletes either, Sheffield's High Performance coaching team of Gareth Tyler and Vicky Joel have been appointed to the roles of Head Coach for the Pennine Pumas U18 and U16 girls respectively for the Futures Cup competition.
