Sheffield Hockey Club

Another season has come around and as activities on the pitch hot up it is now time to get activities off the pitch underway.

Saturday 15th October will see the first hockey social of the 2011-2012 season and will have an Olympic theme as the country counts down to London 2012. During the course of the night we will be hosting a number of physical and mental team games with the eventual winning team receiving a prize. The night will also feature a free raffle draw, whereby the multiple winners will be given the chance to purchase Olympic Hockey tickets. Other things to look forward to include a buffet and, most importantly, the opportunity to re-acquaint with old friends and even make some new ones!

At Sheffield we are lucky to have a club with such a large member base. Events such as these give us the opportunity to come together as a club and show how we can be just as strong off the field as we are on it!
