Sheffield Coaches deliver Young and Talented Sessions
11 September 2011

Sheffield Hockey Club was invited by the Forge School Partnership to deliver hockey sessions to their most athletically talented youngsters. The aim of the program is to allow talented youngsters to have the chance to try a multitude of sports which they would not normally get the chance to attempt so they can make decisions on which they enjoy most.
There were two groups, Forge West and Forge East. With the assistance of our Head Junior and Senior Coaches Malcolm Pratt and Vicky Joel and our Development Officer Simon Law, Sheffield Hockey Club delivered hockey sessions to each group on the 14th & 23rd of June.
At the end of each session the youngsters were asked to complete a diary, rating the session out of 10 and whether they would be interested in receiving more information about where to play. Feedback on the sessions was positive and the clubs information will feature in a newsletter to all participants.
