Sheffield Hockey Club

There has been further success for some of Sheffield's more senior players further demonstrating that Sheffield Hockey Club is committed to supporting players of all ages through development and performance pathways.

Congratulations to Richard Yardley who played for the North Over 60s and was selected for the England over 60s. He played in the home internationals in Durham which England won and is in the team for the European Championships in Neuss, Germany in late August.

Roger Lomas and Richard Danson played for the North Over 65s at the Regional tournament in May. Roger had a final England Trial and has been appointed captain of the England over 65s B team with Richard Danson also selected for this team in the tournament trophy for the European Championships in Neuss.
