From City Centre:
The pitch is about three miles from City Centre. Follow the A 57, signposted 'Glossop' (and variously 'Ring Road', 'Hospitals' University'), past University Goodwin Astro pitches (on Northumberland Road), on the right, (opposite Western Park Hospital). Continue straight ahead at the next two sets of lights through Broomhill shopping centre, which one can recognise by a long row of shops set back behind a lay-by on the right. At the next lights (by a modern Church on the left) do NOT take the right fork signed A57 Glossop, but go straight ahead on Fulwood Road for another ½ mile. (If you miss this continue up the Manchester Road to the right for another ½ mile and turn left after the BP petrol station and directly opposite the Crosspool Tavern. Then follow instructions below as if you were coming from Manchester. Turn right after Thornbury Hospital and immediately before the Fulwood Inn sign, up Tapton Park Road. Up the hill after about 300 yards, take the next right, into Darwin Lane (no name board?). The entrance is about 200 yards on the right, (this is the second School, the first one being to 'Tapton School'). The pitch is visible from the road and parking and changing is at the far end.
From Manchester:
Come into Sheffield along the A 57 road. You enter the built up area (after the Bell Hagg pub on your left) and in another ½ mile turn right directly opposite the Crosspool Tavern, along Sandygate Road. Take the second left into Watt Lane and again second left down Darwin Lane. You will see the ground in another 150 yards on your left. Parking and changing rooms are at the far end of the pitch.
