SHC W3 13-0 Huddersfield Dragons

W3s have been unbeatable at home- but the last couple of away fixtures have been tricky.  A goal in the last minute against lowly Chapeltown to scrape a win, and a narrow defeat to as yet unbeaten bankers 2 have left us a little further away from the top of the ladder than we would like- so it was important to get to Huddersfield and come home with a bag of morale boosting away goals.

The first 5 minutes Sheffield Hallam were looking a bit slow and the ball was turned over easily twice.  Then Sheffield started to get their running legs on and the game got going. It was still another 10 minutes before the first goal was scored, although the Huddersfield goalie was seeing plenty of action. Unfortunately for Huddersfield the goalie couldn't keep everything out and five goals were scored by the end of the half. The second half started with maximum intensity to try and increase the goal difference as the promotion battle in our league is  going to be close.

By the end of the match the girls were even hungrier to score than at the start and the final score was 13-0 with 9 to Sam Casson, 2 to Helen Burlend, 1 to Sarah Picker and 1 to Molly.
