For the second week, Sheffield faced a team of enthusiastic young players, as they travelled to an uncharacteristically sunny Ben Rhydding.
The youthful exuberance of the home team rattled Sheffield early in the game, their pacy strikers stretching Sheffield's defence.
Rhydding controversially took the lead from a crashed ball into the D which was tapped in at the far post.
Sheffield felt it had hit the scorer's foot.
The umpires conferred but the goal stood. This galvanised Sheffield who responded when a precise long ball from Chris Woodcock was turned in from close range by Tim Baker.
Baker was on the scoresheet again minutes later when he found time and space to fire home following a well worked Sheffield move.
Sheffield found their rhythm in the second half, making their greater experience count.
Baker completed his hat trick, Mark Mobbs scored on his reverse and Harry Eddols bagged a brace.
The pick of the goals came from Kaden Nunn with a juggled lob over the keeper.
Rhydding were restricted to occasional counter attack which were snuffed out by Sheffield's defence.
They were able to grab a consolation goal late on however, when they intercepted a clearance, broke in numbers and passed the ball round an outnumbered Sheffield defence to score.
